The War of the Worlds Multiplayer

This is the official jump off point / demo for The War of the Worlds game made by Team Green for steam.  Instead of paying  for the earliest of early-access, I want to put it into the hands of this odd little community we built.   If you want to follow the development of the project more closely, I will be posting updates on our discord : https://discord.gg/cKwXvwAHUk

(DISCLAIMER) Inside the download file is text file that acts as a game-manual for both human and martian game-play. The servers at the time of typing this can only support 20 people on at a time.  If you are having issues with winRAR, there should be a zip file of the game available to download.

Demo Features :

- Playing as a human will have you placed into a world with a limited amount of time to gather materials and interact with other survivors.

- Playing as a Martian puts you into the cockpit of a martian fighting machine, advance into human occupied areas and exterminate the enemy cannons. And be on the lookout for human players.

- Traders can be found as NPCs around the map. Lead them to an extract and they will appear in your inventory as someone you can trade items with when not in-game.

- The Map has its day/night cycle locked to Eastern Standard Time, one day in-game will last an hour.

Steam Release Features :

- 3-7 Maps that are based off of locations from the original story, from Horsell Common to the Outskirts of London. * Number of maps in final product is subject to change, were still deciding

- Offline Mode / Story for people looking for a more linear storytelling experience.
